It’s Not About the Money

Everybody wants to make more money, right? And everybody works hard to get ahead, become more successful or land the killer deal.

And, in spite of your efforts (and your successes) have you ever found yourself asking?

  • I work hard, so why don’t I have more money?
  • Why do I always get the troublesome, broke, “small-potato” customers?
  • Why does the same colleague (or competitor) always luck into the big, profitable deals?
  • I’m successful, why aren’t I happier?

If any of the above sound familiar, join us for an interactive and imaginative session that discusses:

  • What the “experts” say about money
  • Why more money may not be what you really want
  • If it’s not about money, then what’s it about?

Michael Di Lauro is a writer, advisor and instructor (and wannabe guitar hero). He’s written articles, columns and op-ed pieces on small business, money and the philosophy of financial management. He also teaches, advises on and writes course manuals for QuickBooks®, a leading accounting software application.

When not teaching, writing on and playing with software, Michael melds his accounting and financial management expertise with his training in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and WEL-Systems to produce seriously imaginative coaching sessions, columns and workshops on business, money and life. Look for his soon-to-be-published novel The Net Present Value of Life.
